Radomes
Through our partnership with USA-based MFG Galileo, we are able to offer radomes that are built with the most advanced constructive techniques in the world.
Radomes protect valuable communications assets such as radars and satellite earth stations.
The MFG Galileo radome is constructed such that material (including the seams at panel joints) is transparent to the communications asset. During construction, test panels are fabricated and ‘tuned’ to the operational frequency of the asset.
The C-E Solutions/MFG Galileo winning combination secured a contract with the Australian Defence Force to provide a 60ft radome to protect a specialist Defence radar. The Australian Defence Force joins an extensive list of satisfied customers enjoying the MFG Galileo-designed radome.
Performing maintenance on the radome on Bathurst Island
Whilst we can provide radomes for large assets, we can also provide radomes for much smaller assets. For example, check the shipborne radome below following a repair and overhaul we conducted. This radome belongs to the Royal Australian Navy.
