Vigilare Project signs up C-E Services
C-E Services recently signed a contract with the Commonwealth of Australia to provide Project Management, Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Installation and Set To Work services for the Air 5333 Vigilare Project Office.
Project Air 5333 Vigilare will replace the extant Air Defence Ground Environment command and control systems in the Northern Regional Operations Centre, at RAAF Base Tindal, and in the Eastern Regional Operations Centre, at RAAF Base Williamtown. Project Air 5333 also includes delivery of remote communications elements and communications infrastructure, and complex integration activities.
Boeing Australia Ltd (Boeing) is contracted to deliver the Vigilare System (VS) segment of Project Air 5333 and the Air 5333 Project Office is obligated to deliver various Government Furnished Services and Facilities to Boeing in order for Boeing to meets its contracted obligations.
The Commonwealth has subsequently contracted C-E Serivces to perform various tasks and services to assist the Commonwealth in satisfying its contractual obligations to Boeing.
The nature of the contract provides C-E Services a degree of autonomy providing it the ability to form its own teams to respond to the various task and service demands of the contract, rather than providing specific people on site in the Project Office.
