C-E Solutions signs up to Professional Development Program with Engineers Australia
In February 2009, C-E Solutions signed up to the structured Professional Development Program with Engineers Australia (Institute of Engineers Australia) at a ceremony at C-E Solutions headquarters, Taylors Beach NSW. C-E Solutions was officially welcomed to the program by Barry Finlay, Engineers Australia Newcastle Division President, Dr Guy Beaubois, Industry Manager Engineers Australia, and Helen Link, Acting Director Newcastle Division Engineers Australia.

C-E Solutions believes that the development and recognition of the relevant competencies of our staff largely determine the achievement of our overall objectives.
This development and recognition enables us to:
- promote the implementation of our strategic plan
- relate the contributions of teams and individuals to that strategic plan
- facilitate changes to the plan as required by marketplace and regulatory forces
- provide both clarity and equity in the rewards systems for individuals in the enterprise
Since engineering plays a significant role in our business, the relevant competencies of our engineering team – Professional Engineers/Engineering Technologists/Engineering Officers are vital to our future.
We aim to develop and recognise these competencies in our engineering team (graduate and experienced engineers) through a Professional Development Program (PDP), conducted in collaboration with Engineers Australia.
The implementation of competency standards for our engineering team, provides significant advantages for the three stakeholders – C-E Solutions, the individual members of our engineering team, and Engineers Australia.
